Discover Local Agriculture

Welcome to buyctgrown!

buyCTgrown is a place to connect people who are ready to discover CT Grown goods and experience Connecticut agriculture. It is also a place to tell the story of CT farms and the businesses that support them!

Visitors can easily discover everything to do with the food culture in CT, from apples to wool, organic products, local meats and cheese, garden plants, farmers markets, CSAs, events and suggested activities. We encourage you to explore our website and see what we have to offer. Use our search tool, located on the upper right hand corner of every page, to discover farms or businesses near you that carry a CT Grown product you are looking for, a pick your own operation to visit, or a farm to table restaurant near you!  Browse our upcoming events section to find a fun family activity or weekend getaway, or check out our Seasons Top Ten to find creative and fun things to do during every season. Learn more about CT farms and farm products through the featured section on our Food + Goods page. Check out our Trails section for a great way to experience a particular food like cheese or ice cream throughout the state, or even suggest your own Trail of CT Grown products and events!

Businesses and non-profits may create a profile on the website for free, tell their story and share news about their events and business.
buyCTgrown is a program of UConn Extension. It was created bythe non-profit CitySeed and received support from partners including UConn Extension, CT Farm Bureau, CT NOFA, and the CT Department of Agriculture.
